What is Hullabaloo Music & Camping Festival Music Festival?
Hullabaloo is a 3 day music & camping festival that will be held Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the scenic Falconwood Park in Bellevue, Nebraska. Hullabaloo is a place for the community to come together and experience great music, art, and food in an intimate and safe festival setting. We have many surprises in store for this and every coming year!
What kind of activities are available?
Activities, besides amazing music on multiple stages, include a 9 hole disc golf course, badminton, playground, cornhole, giant Jenga, and picnic tables. We have a theme for every night of the party - stay tuned! We will have a community art installation that everyone is encouraged to participate in. There will be workshops available - stay tuned for this as well. We also have a team of massage therapists offering their services, for a small fee, for those in need. You can fulfill you shopping needs at a variety of unique vendors including clothing, vintage jewelry, tie-dye, art, and so much more! There will many food vendors to choose from as well.
When can I arrive for the festival? When must I leave?
The gates and campgrounds are open Thursday, July 18th at 2PM. If you have a full event pass or Thursday only pass (available at the gate or online) you can show up any time after 2PM. Re-entry is allowed as long as you keep your wristband. Day passes are allowed to camp for the night of the pass and must leave by noon the next day. There will be bracelet checkpoints throughout the park. Full event passes and Saturday passes must leave by 10AM Sunday.
What is Falconwood Park like?
This beautiful park features an amazing shaded concert field and campgrounds, ample parking, a playground and recreation area, benches galore, a secondary indoor venue, shower, indoor bathrooms facilities with running water, horse shoe pits, volleyball/badminton, basketball, picnic tables …the list goes on. Will there be a tunnel/forest walk at the new location?
Yes, the forest walk will be bigger and better and brighter than ever before. We will have a production crew bringing out all sorts of LEDs, crazy lights, and art installations to mess with your mind!
Are pets allowed?
Yes, we love our furry family members at Hullabaloo! Please make sure your pet is well behaved and kept on a leash in crowded areas.
Where can I park?
There is plenty of on-site parking. Vehicles can drive through the campground to unload, but then need to return their vehicles to the on-site lot. Recreational Vehicles are allowed on the property for an additional fee. Please call Brandon Miller at 402.210.4747 or email HullabalooMusicFestival@gmail.com to make any reservations. There are no electrical or water hookups this year.
Where do I purchase tickets and how much are they? / Is there a discount if I can’t attend all the days?
Tickets are available through EventBrite. Prices vary based on purchase date and whether you'd like to attend a single day or the entire event.
What if it rains?
Hullabaloo will take place, rain or shine. No refunds. We have an indoor venue and all shows will be moved indoors if the weather calls for it.
What can we expect the weather to do?
Wow, that’s a tough one. Especially for those of you camping for 3 days, it would be best to prepare for anything. ☺ Sun, clouds, wind, & rain. Ok, all that excitement aside, we will hope for absolutely beautiful weather!
Is there a river nearby?
Yes, the Platte River is approximately 2000 feet to the south of the park.
Is there shelter?
Yes, there is a beautiful indoor venue with a fully stocked bar where late night sets will be played and used as a back up for any weather incidents.
Will there be food?
Yes, we have many great food vendors lined up!
Will ice and water be available?
Yes, there is water available on tap or bottles available through Falconwood Park's indoor bar and vending stands. Ice will be available for purchase as well.
What about alcohol consumption & sales?
Falconwood Park will be vending booze at reasonable rates. We ask that you support this venue and purchase to-go alcohol from them rather than bringing it with you onto the music grounds. Outside alcohol is allowed in the camping area. NO COOLERS IN THE FESTIVAL/STAGE GROUNDS. Also, liquor consumption will be allowed only on the festival and camping grounds, not in the parking lot. Underage drinking is of course strictly prohibited.
Will there be security?
Yes, there will be security patrolling the grounds. If you have an emergency, find a member of the Hullabacroo. We will have emergency staff on site as well.
Is there RV Camping / electrical & water hookups?
There is ample RV parking but no electrical or water hookups. Call Brandon Miller at 402.210.4747 for more details.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes, Hullabaloo is a family friendly event. In fact, children 10 and under are free as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult. Falconwood Park is large and beautiful with room for everyone to spread out and enjoy nature, or take part in the activities provided, or of course gather around the stage to enjoy the music.
What can I bring inside the festival grounds?
Lawn chairs and blankets are allowed. Sunscreen, sunglasses, hats and/or visors are suggested to enjoy the day without any sun related discomfort. We reserve the right to inspect all bags, purses, backpacks, etc. before allowing entry to the festival. No coolers will be allowed in the music/stage area.
Can I bring a cooler?
Yes, you can have a cooler at your campsite but not in the stage area. There will be food and beverages available at reasonable rates on the music grounds.
Will cameras or recorders be allowed?
Cameras will be allowed. Contact Brandon Miller at 402.210.4747 if you want to inquire about a press pass or taping. Some artists encourage taping, but this is on a case by case basis.
Rules and Regulations:
• Unauthorized vending is not permitted.
• No illegal drugs, weapons, or fireworks are allowed on the festival grounds.
• CONCEALED WEAPONS ARE NOT PERMITTED. Violators will be ejected from the facility.
• Underage drinking is strictly prohibited.
• Park only in designated parking areas. If your vehicle is found in an unauthorized area it will be towed.
• No glass please.
• Respect the environment. Please use trash and recycling bags provided by the festival.
• Please listen to and respect all staff, whether it is a parking attendant or police officer. Your safety and well-being is their #1 concern.
• Finally, the most important rule of all: The Golden Rule. Please be respectful of your neighbors
and consider their comfort.
